BEIJING, Dec. 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.8 jolted Cuba region 0600 GMT on Monday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.86 degrees north latitude and 76.50 degrees west longitude. ■
